Used by architecture & engineering teams worldwide
“Together with MKS DTECH, we shaped Nessie directly within practice at Heatherwick Studio, building workflows and infrastructure that respond to real project and BIM management needs beyond Revit.”

A cloud layer for
project information.
Nessie collects data from your Revit models on every sync and makes it available to read and edit in the browser, across the whole studio.
Every project, one workspace.
All project data is centralised in one cloud workspace, shared across the whole studio. Data is extracted automatically each time a model is opened or synced, with activity monitored live.
View and change data from the browser.
Sheet numbers, revision dates, schedules and room data can be read in the browser, without opening the model. Any table can be exported to Excel for reporting.
Sheet parameters, revisions and project information can be edited across multiple models at once.
Changes are applied on the next model sync.
Browse rooms in 3D.
Browse the rooms of any level in the browser, without opening the model.
Track model activity,
live.
Follow the studio in real time: every open document, who is working in it and who is syncing, project by project.
Understand what is happening
across every model.
Each synchronisation captures a detailed snapshot of the model, including families, worksets, rooms, groups, design options, CAD imports, links and file size.
Monitor model health.
Revit warnings are collected and grouped by type and severity, for individual models and across the full portfolio. Severity levels can be customised to match your studio’s standards.
See how your models connect.
Every Revit link in the project is mapped as a live hierarchy, showing which models depend on which and how deep those dependencies run.
Publish to Autodesk Docs,
on a schedule.
Link a Nessie project to Autodesk Construction Cloud and run exports from the browser. IFC files, sheet PDFs and issued models are produced in the Autodesk cloud from the latest model, without opening Revit.
Exports and publishing
Export IFC with a chosen 3D view and setup, print sheets to PDF into any Docs folder, publish the latest model and issue models.
Schedules
Run publishing, IFC exports and sheet prints daily, weekly or monthly. Models synced since their last publish are flagged.
Tools inside Revit,
driven by the cloud.
The Nessie add-in collects model data in the background and brings studio standards and coordination tools into Revit.
Publish sheets in batches.
Export sheets to PDF, DWG and images in one pass, using the print settings and file naming rules defined in Nessie. Print sets can be built straight from a revision.
Take turns to sync with central.
A shared queue shows who is in the model and who is waiting to sync. Join the queue, postpone your turn or leave, and Nessie tells you when it is your turn.
Manage standards
from one place.
BIM standards and project settings are stored in a central cloud layer and managed at studio or project level. The Nessie Revit plugins read them directly, so printing, naming and model setup follow the same rules on every machine.
Configurations
Templates, libraries, shared parameters and file paths are defined centrally and applied to each Revit installation, so every machine runs the same setup.
Print settings and namings
Print settings and file naming rules are defined once and applied to every export, keeping issued drawings consistent across projects and teams.
Project parameters
Project information is set once in the browser and applied to every model in the project, removing the need to update the same values file by file.
Built for BIM and project data teams.
BIM managers
Monitor model quality, syncs and activity studio wide, with analytics on status and progress.
Document controllers
Review and edit sheets, revisions and naming remotely, with changes reflected in Revit at the next sync.
“Nessie gives our teams a much clearer overview of project activity and model operations. Having live access to syncs, sessions, and BIM data outside of Revit has improved coordination across multiple projects, while helping us maintain and propagate standards consistently across documents and teams.”
